I love being a pediatric dentist! I get to work in a joyful, dynamic environment filled with smiles and children’s laughter, making each day unique and fulfilling. Being a pediatric dentist is incredibly rewarding because it combines the joys of working with children with the profound impact of fostering lifelong oral health. My philosophy centers on preventive care and education, ensuring children and their parents understand the importance of baby teeth and good oral hygiene habits from an early age. I believe that achieving optimal oral health is a concerted team effort, and I strive to include parents in every step of their children’s dental journey. It is my goal to meet every child where they are, help them feel comfortable and at ease, and provide quality, compassionate dental care. There is nothing more fulfilling than being able to help a child overcome his/her fears and to cultivate resilience and confidence. My dream is to help every child everywhere smile bigger and brighter!

I graduated with distinction from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy and minors in Biology and Chemistry. I received my dental training at The University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry, where I graduated with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society. After dental school I moved to Columbus, OH to complete my specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry and obtain my Master of Science in Dentistry from Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. I became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2018 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in 2024.
I am committed to providing the best dental care to our patient families. Integral to that commitment is staying up to date with best practices and scientific dental research. Continuing to learn beyond my training in dental school and residency allows me to stay current with advancements in dental technology, restorative materials, and techniques. I have also had the privilege of instructing fellow pediatric dentists through various educational courses. Every child is unique in their dental healthcare needs, and I strive to be able to offer the best evidence-based care to help each child achieve a healthy and happy smile.
I met my husband while in residency, and we have two beautiful children who fill our lives with joy and excitement. When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and exploring all that the Triangle has to offer. I also enjoy traveling domestically and abroad, trying new foods and restaurants, practicing yoga, and exploring new hobbies.
